The Centre also offers the popular ‘Coots For Ever’ activity holidays, now in its seventeenth year.

Coots 1 - 2 - 2 ½
Coots For Ever holidays are open to everyone who enjoys outdoor activities and who want to learn or improve their sailing skills in keelboats.

The daily programme for these holidays consist of half a day sailing and half a day on outdoor activities ( archery, canoeing, kayaking, ropes courses, climbing, etc) Coots 2 and 2 ½ follow the RYA Young Sailor’s Scheme.

Coots 1 (8 – 10 years)
Coots 2 and 2 ½ (10 – 14 years)

Coots 3 (15 – 18 years)
This is open to everyone who would like to learn or improve their sailing skills in keelboats. There is an opportunity to gain an RYA qualification.

The daily programme for Coots 3 will consist of a full day’s sailing and then offers the chance to enjoy outdoor activities in the evening. You will also learn theory to support your sailing skills.

Coots Afloat (18 – 25 years)
A new venture, open for everyone, 17 and over, who would like to recharge their batteries before going back to school, entering college or university. You will be living on the boats, sailing during the day, taking responsibility for cooking and o ther tasks. There will be an evening session where we can explore the meaning of life etc. and have time to relax.

Each holiday offers only 24 places (except Coots Afloat were there are only 18 places available).

Have fun and experience a variety of outdoor activities in a safe and caring environment. The sailing takes place on the Norfolk Broads and most o ther activities are run on site.
