Cookies

We use cookies on this website. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device by the websites that you visit. They are widely used in order to make websites work, or work more efficiently, or enhance the user experience, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site (ie for making customer-focused improvements to the site).

The law that applies to how cookies are used for storing information on your equipment (such as your computer or mobile device) changes on 25 May 2018. In general, you must provide specific, informed consent to the use of cookies or comparable tracking technology. However, under Recital 66 of the GDPR where cookies are strictly necessary for the legitimate purpose of enabling the use of a specific service that you have requested then your consent to processing may be expressed by using the appropriate settings of a browser or other application.

So we will now provide you with clear information about how our site uses cookies, and how to disable them if you wish.

We use cookies on the HORSTEAD CENTRE website for collecting website usage data (via Google Analytics). Any information we collect via these cookies is used anonymously simply to improve and enhance your experience of our website. We will not use the information to identify individuals or share it with anyone else.

Most browsers allow you to refuse to accept cookies. This may, however, have a negative impact upon the usability of many websites, and may prevent you from accessing some services available on this website.

To find out more about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set on your computer or mobile device, and how to manage and delete them, visit  www.allaboutcookies.org.
